Designing a Cozy Reading Nook: Tips and Inspiration

Even if you don’t have the square footage in your home for a full-blown library, you likely have a corner in your bedroom or office to spare to transform into your very own reading nook. 

A book nook can become a sanctuary for you to go and relax in a dedicated space for your hobby of choice, from reading, drawing, knitting and more.

Location, location, location!

Where you set up your little hideaway matters, because you want it to be private and relaxing. Making sure you have a quiet place to be alone is the most important element of a reading room.

Consider putting your nook near a window with a nice view, or just in a location in your home where you feel the most comfortable, with the least distraction.
